Cookie and Tracking Policy
Effective date: 2026-06-27
This Cookie Policy explains how Therefy uses cookies and similar technologies.
Therefy is operated by Mind Turf Private Limited.
Therefy is an audio-first online counselling and emotional support platform operating in India. Therefy uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the platform secure, reliable, and usable. This Cookie Policy should be read with the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use.
Legal basis: Rule 4 of the SPDI Rules, 2011 requires a privacy policy that explains collection, use, disclosure, and security practices. India's digital personal data framework supports clear notice, purpose limitation, consent where applicable, and safeguards for digital personal data.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored on your browser or device when you visit a website. Cookies can help a website remember your device, login session, preferences, or activity.
Similar technologies may include local storage, session storage, pixels, tags, software development kits, device identifiers, server logs, and analytics identifiers. In this policy, we use the word "cookies" to include these similar technologies where relevant.
Legal basis: Rule 4 of the SPDI Rules, 2011 requires clear disclosure of information practices. India's digital personal data framework supports clear notice when digital identifiers are used.
2. Why Therefy uses cookies
Therefy may use cookies to keep you signed in, protect your account, support secure booking flow, support payment flow through Razorpay, remember cookie choices, protect forms from misuse, detect errors, improve website performance, understand basic website usage, protect the platform from fraud, spam, and unauthorised access, and support legally compliant advertising measurement where used.
Therefy does not use cookies to record audio sessions, provide video, or provide screen sharing.
Legal basis: Rule 5 of the SPDI Rules, 2011 supports collection and use of information for a lawful purpose connected with the platform's function. Reasonable security duties are supported by Section 43A of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and Rule 8 of the SPDI Rules, 2011.
3. Types of cookies we may use
Necessary cookies help the website and platform work. They may support login, account security, booking flow, payment flow, fraud prevention, session-room access, consent records, cookie-preference records, and basic platform security. Without necessary cookies, some parts of Therefy may not work.
Preference cookies help remember choices. They may support language preference, display preference, cookie choices, and basic account settings.
Performance and analytics cookies help Therefy understand how the website works. They may help us understand page performance, broken links, technical errors, device or browser issues, general traffic patterns, and whether pages load correctly. Analytics must be configured carefully because Therefy handles counselling and emotional-support related services.
Advertising and measurement cookies: Therefy may run ads on platforms such as Google, Meta, or other advertising channels. Therefy may use limited advertising measurement tools to understand whether campaigns are working. Advertising and measurement tools must not receive sensitive counselling, emotional support, safety, intake, emergency, refund, or session behaviour data.

Therefy does not use sensitive service behaviour to create retargeting audiences, custom audiences, lookalike audiences, or sensitive behavioural segments based on Therapy or Vent-Out behaviour.
Therefy does not use cookie data to claim or imply that a person has a private emotional concern, counselling need, personal crisis, or health-related condition.
Legal basis: Rule 6 of the SPDI Rules, 2011 restricts disclosure of sensitive personal data. India's digital personal data framework supports purpose limitation, lawful processing, consent where applicable, and safeguards. 8. Third-party cookies and tools
Therefy may use trusted third-party tools for hosting, authentication, payments, email, notifications, security, error monitoring, analytics, advertising measurement, customer support, and audio infrastructure. These tools may set their own cookies or similar technologies and are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
Therefy will take reasonable steps to use tools that are suitable for the platform's lawful operations.

9. Cookie choices
You may control some cookies through your browser settings, your device settings, a cookie preference tool if available on Therefy, ad-personalisation settings offered by advertising platforms, or privacy settings offered by your browser.
You may block or delete some cookies. If you block necessary cookies, some features may stop working. This may affect login, booking, payment, dashboard access, session-room access, security checks, consent records, and support forms.
Therefy may still use necessary cookies where required for security, service delivery, fraud prevention, payment flow, or legal compliance.

11. Advertising platform safety
Therefy may use advertising platforms to promote Therefy. Any advertising setup must respect Therefy's service boundaries.

Therefy landing pages must not collect unnecessary sensitive information before explaining the service and privacy terms. Therefy must not use private service behaviour for ad targeting. Therefy may use broad, privacy-safe campaign measurement where allowed.
